Prince William pushes back against the world's doom and gloom: 'Don't talk about perishing'
Prince William breaks down everything he hopes for the world alongside Sir David Attenborough
In his own words Prince William has just all his hopes for the world, for Earthshot and for the future, on the 5th anniversary of the prize awards that supports sustainability and climate change initiates by incentivizing it via a large scale event.
He even shared a recap for this in the caption of the Earthshot Prize post and it shows how “halfway through the decade, our Finalists have, raised over $500 million in new capital, reduced 4.8 million tonnes of CO2. Protected and restored 1.1 million square kilometres of land and ocean. Saved, reduced or recycled 9 million tonnes of water. Removed or upcycled 250,000 tonnes of waste and created change for people in over 107 countries.”
The two even talked at length about current ‘earthshots’ for every year for the next ten years, which includes Reviving the Oceans, Restoring and Protecting Nature, Fixing the Climate, Clean Air and a Waste Free World.
