Miley Cyrus reveals godmother Dolly Parton is 'excited' to return
Miley Cyrus opens up about his godmother Dolly Parton’s health
Miley Cyrus recently gave an update on her godmother Dolly Parton’s health, as she had to face some “challenges" earlier this year.
On December 1, the 33-year-old American singer-songwriter went to attend the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere in Los Angeles, where she opened up about her honorary grandmother’s health woes, who is actually her seventh cousin, once removed.
Sharing an update on Parton’s health in a talk with Entertainment Tonight, Miley said, “She’s always gonna keep the show going. The show must go on. She’s just excited to get back to work.”
For those unaware, the 79-year-old American singer-songwriter and actress suffered a kidney-stone-related infection, which forced her to postpone her shows in Las Vegas in September this year.
After postponing her shows, Parton released a video in which she talked about her health scare by explaining, "Hello Dollywood! It’s me. I know — and I’m here, and you’re there. And you’re wondering why that is? Well, I had a little problem."
"I had a kidney stone that was causing me a lot of problems, turned out it’d given me an infection, and the doctor said, 'You don’t need to be traveling right this minute, so you need a few days to get better,’” the Little Sparrow hitmaker stated at that time.
