Jonathan Scott gets honest about his, Zooey Deschanel's Christmas decorations
Jonathan Scott opens up about his and Zooey Deschanel's lengthy Christmas decorations
Jonathan Scott has finally revealed how long his and Zooey Deschanel's Christmas decorations take.
Reflecting on his and brother Drew Scott’s new partnership with Wood Venner Hub in a talk with PEOPLE magazine, the 47-year-old Canadian TV personality shared that he and his partner Zooey always decorate their recently renovated abode in November.
Jonathan said the entire “Christmas changeover” takes almost a week, especially the interior decorations.
He quipped, “I start on the inside because it takes about five or six days for us to do the whole inside,” and to bring their vision to life, they seek help from Stephen Brown from Glitterville Studios.
“And then what we do is we wait until actual Thanksgiving has passed and then we change the outdoor decor, so along the street and stuff like that,” the star of Backed by the Bros added.
In 2024, he posted a video on his and brother Drew’s YouTube channel, giving a complete tour of their "very whimsical," Winter Wonderland-themed holiday décor.
"There are lots of different rules when decorating for the holidays. But, of course, as we know, rules are meant to be broken, so it really depends on your comfort level,” Jonathan explained in the clip.
