Nicole Kidman finds support in Australian superstar post-divorce

Nicole Kidman is reportedly receiving support from Hollywood icon Russell Crowe following her split from Keith Urban.

As reported by Closer Magazine, the Oscar winner has been leaning to the Gladiator star as she deals with the end of her 19 years marriage.

The source told the outlet, "Russell has been through his own heartbreaking divorce after twenty-some years of marriage so he can empathise with Nicole in a way that not everyone in her world can."

They went on to add, "He has a tough exterior but he’s a real softie underneath. Ever since Nicole told him what was going on he’s been on the phone to her nearly every day just to check in and lift her spirits. They even managed to meet up for coffee not that long ago."

As per the sources, Nicole Kidman is "putting on a brave face" in front of people and everyone around her have been stepping up to support her including Russell Crowe.

Insiders revealed that the actor has been telling Nicole "what a catch she is and what a fool Keith is for letting her go."

"No doubt it’s good for her confidence and she really needs a boost right now, her whole world has been shaken by this. When she’s having a low moment she can talk to him and get a pep talk and come out feeling ready to keep going," they said.

Adding, "Russell’s advice carries a lot of weight because he’s so authentic, he never sugarcoats things either, he tells it like it is, which is something Nicole appreciates so much."

Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban in September 2025 after 19-years of being married.
