KARACHI: Initial postmortem reports of the two army soldiers martyred yesterday near the Parking Plaza in Sadar area, were prepared on Wednesday.
Both martyred army soldiers were hit collectively with seven bullets, both also from the left side. Lance Naik Abdul Razzaq was shot with four bullets while Khadim Hussain was shot with three bullets.
A FIR could not be registered since a dispute pertaining to the limitations of two police stations, had cropped up. The place where the firing had begun is included within the limitations of the Brigade Police Station but after a few minutes, the car entered the limits of the Sadar Police Station.
"The FIR would be registered at the CTD police station", said SP Sadar Samiullah. Further he informed that no bullet shells had been recovered from the crime scene but officials found evidence that 9mm pistol was used in the incident .Sources say that area would be geo fenced for the further investigations.
The bodies of the two martyred soldiers were sent to their respective villages on Wednesday, after their funeral prayers had been offered.
