LAHORE: In a custody case on Tuesday, the Lahore High Court gave a decision in favour of the mother when it handed over the custody of three children to her from the father.
Meanwhile in another case, the court gave the decision in favour of the father when it directed the mother to pursue the Guardian court and did not take the custody of seven children away from the father.
Proceedings for the first case were presided over by Justice Sardar Shamim Khan who accepted the petition of Nasreen Bibi and handed over the custody of her three children Ayesha, Bilal and Ali to her from the father.
Hearing for the second case was conducted by Justice Ali Baqir Najfi who dismissed the petition of a woman named Naseem Alim and directed her to pursue the Guardian court.
Her husband Abdul Sattar had claimed that his wife had left him five years ago and hence, had no claim to their children. Among the seven children, six are girls and one is a boy.
