KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday said that there was no conflict within the Pakistan Peoples Party.

According to details, the Chief Minister was condoling with Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan over the death of his father when he spoke to media personnel. Qaim Ali Shah dismissed the notion that there was any conflict or contradiction within the PPP.

"Let me tell you, there is no conflict within the Pakistan Peoples Party," he said. "Whatever decision that party leadership has decided to take is in the interest of the province," he added.

Qaim Ali Shah said that such changes were made by the party keeping in mind the interest of Sindh.

The incumbent Chief Minister of Sindh is expected to resign today after a meeting is held at Bilawal House presided over by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Sources have stated that senior PPP leader from Sindh Murad Ali Shah is expected to take over as Qaim Ali Shah's successor.
