KARACHI: Muhammad Imran alias Imran Saeed, a suspect affiliated with a political party, claimed during an interrogation that he was involved in various crimes, including the murder of 26 people.
According to reports, Imran Saeed had been working as a target killer for a certain political party. “I was working as a target killer and received orders from Hammad Siddiqui and killed around 26 people belonging to police and different religious parties’, claimed Saeed.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saeed, allegedly an activist of a political party, is charged with being involved in setting ablaze a building in which lawyers were present, in April 2008. Imran Saeed had been handed over to the police on physical remand till 8th July by an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
