LARKANA: Former Chief Minister of Sindh Liaquat Jatoi on Monday warned that if Murad Ali Shah was made the new Chief Minister of Sindh, then he would protest against the decision.
"Murad Ali Shah is of an uncertain character and cannot be accepted as the Chief Minister”, said Jatoi.
Liaquat Jatoi, who is a former Chief Minister of Sindh, further said that there were still many terrorist gangs and their leaders operating in Sindh.
Commenting on the issue of extension of Rangers’ powers and stay in Sindh, he said that if the Rangers were not granted authorities, then he would go to court against that decision.
"Rangers must be granted full authority to act in Sindh," he said. He criticized the PPP leadership by stating that it was running Sindh government from Dubai, which was not at all acceptable.
The Pakistan Peoples Party decided on Sunday to remove Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah from the post of Chief Minister and appoint Murad Ali Shah in his stead. Major changes are also expected in the Sindh government, which are likely to be announced on Tuesday.
