Local attorney files case against Modi, LHC maintains reservations

LAHORE: A case was filed against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lahore high Court on Monday, pertaining to the atrocities being committed by the Indian security forces in occupied Kashmir. 

Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah presided over the hearing, which was conducted at Lahore High Court. The case was filed by local advocate Rana Abdul Hameed. 

The case was filed against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the killings of innocent Kashmiri civilians. Modi was charged with terrorism in the FIR. 

Lahore High Court's Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah considered the reservations of the high court in mind and directed the complainant to contact the Justice of Peace. 

Protests in Kashmir turned bloody after the killing of freedom fighter Burhan Wani, who was killed by Indian security forces. Indian army's atrocities against the people of Kashmir caused the martyrdom of 50 people as three thousand innocent civilians were also injured during the protests. 

Indian government has imposed a curfew in some parts of Kashmir and cut off the supply of internet and mobile phone connections in some parts of occupied Kashmir.
