PESHAWAR: Awami National Party's Zahid Khan slammed PTI chief Imran Khan on Sunday by stating that CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak's recent statement was an admission of the PTI-led government's failure in the province.
Zahid Khan said that PTI's lies pertaining to bringing about change and progress in the province had been exposed by the party's own appointed Chief Minister. He said that Pervez Khattak's statement acknowledging PTI's failure to bring about change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in five years was an admission of the party's failure to bring about reform in the province.
Khan also complained that no judicial commission had been formed to probe the corruption of the chief minister and senior ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Stating that Khattak's statement had verified ANP's principled stance, Zahid Khan urged those who had falsely portrayed that development had taken place in the province, to apologize publicly for lying.
He said that PTI chief Imran Khan was adopting a dictatorial approach by discouraging people within his party from forming their own opinion and disagreeing with the party leadership.
