ISLAMABAD: Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif met Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday to discuss matters of regional security.
The Prime Minister and army chief discussed the outcome of Indian atrocities in Indian-held Kashmir. Matters relating to Pakistan's security and regional stability were also discussed during the meeting.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had arrived in Islamabad after almost sixty days. The PM was convalescing from a heart surgery in London and was then delayed in Lahore due to a leg infection.
PM Nawaz will also preside over a National Security meeting later during the day. Apart from Indian atrocities in Kashmir, matters related to the National Action Plan, operation Zarb-e-Azb, and Karachi operation would also come under discussion during the National Security meeting.
