Kim Kardashian’s failed law exam journey sparks online debate: 'Do it effectively'
Kim Kardashian shares her restless journey of 'hardwork' to pass law exams
Kim Kardashian has confirmed she did not pass the California state bar exam, sharing the update directly with fans through an eight-minute video montage on Instagram.
The footage charts her months of preparation as she continues her nontraditional path toward becoming a lawyer.
Kim said she committed “four months straight” to studying and “canceled all work” to focus entirely on the exam. “I don’t really do anything except being a mom and studying,” she explained in the video, which shows her taking notes, filling whiteboards, and working late on her laptop.
Although she didn’t pass, she told viewers she intends to keep going until she succeeds.
Her announcement quickly sparked discussion across social platforms. While reactions varied, many users questioned her study approach and confidence leading up to the test.
One Reddit commenter wrote, “I get the sincere impression that because Kim hasn’t had a ton of schooling that she hasn’t learned how to study and do it effectively.”
Another added, “It seems she’s been a little too confident lately—I would never in a million years say I was to be certified as a lawyer soon… until I knew my results.”
Others pointed to the demands of taking the bar without attending law school.
One user noted, “Her ‘hard work’ is barely the bare minimum at law school,” while another commented on age-related challenges, saying, “Learning new things and memorization at her age is A LOT harder than typical college age.”
Still, some acknowledged the difficulty of balancing parenting, business, and bar preparation. Kim ended her video by affirming her commitment to try again, underscoring that her legal journey—however unconventional—remains ongoing.
