Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid confirmed as Taylor Swift's bridesmaids

Taylor Swift is officially in wedding-planning mode, and she’s starting by building her own bridesmaid army.

According to the US Sun, the pop superstar has chosen two of her closest pals, Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, to be bridesmaids in her upcoming wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce.

The insider revealed that Swift asked Hadid, 30, to join her bridal party during a dinner at New York’s Zero Bond last week. “Gigi was thrilled and wasn’t expecting it,” the source said, adding that the supermodel happily accepted.

Swift, 35, also extended the same invitation to Gomez, 33, who will bring some wedding planning experience after tying the knot with Benny Blanco in September.

“Taylor wants to start the wedding process this way — building her bridesmaid group and getting everyone involved in the preparations, celebrations, and planning,” the insider explained. “She wants it to be fun and memorable for everyone, with parties, trips, and time spent together leading up to the big day.”

The Life of a Showgirl hitmaker has reportedly turned to Gomez for wedding-planning advice as she begins to map out her own nuptials. Swift’s recent outings with friends like Ashley Avignone and Sabrina Carpenter have fuelled speculation that she’s gradually revealing her bridal party.

The multi-Grammy-winner got engaged to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in August after two years of dating, sharing the happy news with the playful caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

While the couple hasn’t confirmed specifics, Page Six reports they’re planning to wed at Swift’s $17 million Rhode Island estate, with a date expected sometime early next year.
