ISLAMABAD: Senator Faisal Vawda arrived at Parliament House with a basket of sweets on Monday. Outside Parliament, the senator distributed sweets among journalists, saying he had come to offer ‘advance mithai’. “There’s no room for attitude when you have a job to do,” Vawda remarked, adding that the country’s “defence line must be further strengthened”. He hinted that the upcoming constitutional changes were part of a broader framework. He ask reporters to “enjoy the sweets for the 27th Amendment and get ready for the 28th”.
