Sir David Beckham has shared a heartfelt touching Remembrance Sunday post following his knighthood.
The legendary footballer, 50, joined other stars, including Vicky Pattison and Amanda paying their tribute on Remembrance Sunday.
Remembrance Sunday is a historic occasion that honours British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women who served in the World Wars and later conflicts.
Taking to Instagram, Sir David shared a stock photo of a Beefeater surrounded by poppies.
He wrote: 'This Remembrance Sunday, I'm thinking about those who sacrificed as much for our freedom.
'We must give thanks to our Armed Forces and the men and women who risk their own lives to protect others everyday. I am also thinking of those living in fear and danger in areas of conflict around the world.#LestWeForget.'
Meanwhile, Vicky Pattinson also shared a tribute, writing: 'When you go home, tell them of us and say, For your tomorrow we have our today.
'We remember.@lucyclaireillustration.'
Amanda posted a picture of a bench adorned with poppies and simply wrote:
'Lest we forget.'
Sir David was made a knight of the British empire for his services to sport and charity during Tuesday's investiture, notably for his contributions to football over a twenty-year career and his ambassadorial work with UNICEF.
He was welcomed by King Charles while receiving his knighthood at Windsor Castle.
