Rawalpindi: Director Health Services (EPI) Punjab Dr. Sammara, accompanied by her team, conducted an official visit to Rawalpindi to perform a comprehensive review of Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and to monitor the ongoing Measles-Rubella (MR) Campaign Readiness progress.
The Director was formally welcomed by Chief Executive Officer District Health Authority Dr. Ehsan Ghani, District Health Officer Preventive Services Dr. Hafiz M. Jawad Zahid and Waqar Ahmed Satti, who delivered a detailed briefing on the EPI activities and campaign’s operational progress.
As part of the assessment, Dr. Sammara conducted a meticulous inspection of the RHC Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, where she thoroughly audited all EPI operational records. To validate data integrity, the Director personally verified a child’s vaccination entry by telephonically corresponding with the parents listed in the register.
The review concluded with exemplary findings. All data was confirmed to be 100 per cent accurate, and feedback from parents was exceptionally positive, highlighting the high performance, professional attitude, and dedication of the EPI staff.
