Islamabad : Two officers of the Federal Capital Police – Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Operations Mohammad Jawad Tariq and SSP (Operations), Shuaib Khan – have been transferred, simultaneously, to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) with immediate effect.
Two separate notifications, issued by the Establishment Division, with same warding, said, “The services of Jawad Tariq and Shuaib Khan, presently working (DIG Operations) and SSP (Operations) in Capital Police, are transferred and their services are placed at the Disposal of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), under Ministry of Interior and Narcotics.”
The officers, when contacted, confirmed the report, saying that they would join FIA, probably, on Monday.
