Non-bailable arrest warrant issued against Gandapur, Iman Mazari, Hamid Chattha
ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Nasr Minallah Baloch has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leak case.
The court has ordered the police to arrest the accused and present him at the next hearing. During Wednesday’s proceedings, no one appeared on behalf of Ali Amin Gandapur, prompting the court to express its anger and issue the warrant. The court had scheduled the hearing to formally indict the accused, but the proceedings were postponed due to his absence. The next hearing has been adjourned until December 5. The case related to the audio leaks was registered against Ali Amin Gandapur at Golra Police Station.
In a separate case, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in relation to a case concerning controversial tweets.
