PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has assigned portfolios to provincial ministers, advisers and special assistant through a notification.
According to the notification on Saturday, Meena Khan has been appointed Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development, while Arshad Ayub Khan will oversee the ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education department. Also, Fazal Shakoor Khan has been given the portfolio of the Public Health Engineering, Amjad Ali will serve as Minister for Housing, Aftab Alam Afridi as Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights, while Syed Fakhar Jehan has been given the portfolio of Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control.
Also, Riaz Khan will look after the ministry of Irrigation, Khaleeq ur Rehman has been made Minister for Health, Aqib Ullah Khan as Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation, and Settlement and Faisal Khan Tarakai as Minister for Labour.
Muzzammil Aslam will look after the Finance ministry as Adviser to the CM and Taj Muhammad as Adviser for Sports and Youth Affairs. Beaides, Shafi Ullah Jan has been appointed as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations.
