Jennifer Aniston shares real reason behind rejecting ‘SNL’ show
‘Friends’ alum gets candid about ‘Saturday Night Live’ offer
Jennifer Aniston has recently explained why she declined Saturday Night Live show.
The Friends alum reflected on turning down SNL show during an appearance on Dax Shepards’ Armchair Expert podcast.
When the host asked about SNL offer, Jennifer nodded yes and replied, “I always thought I am not meant for it.”
“The story of all that is very confusing, honestly, today, I would have to ask Lorne because I remember I was in New York City,” recalled the 56-year-old.
Murder Mystery actress went on, “I don’t know why I had this self-righteous attitude like if women are treated the way they should be treated on this show.”
“It’s a very male-dominated show and I would love to be here if it was like in the Gilda Radner days,” continued Jennifer.
The Morning Show star, however, didn’t remember much what happened at the time but she revealed that she got the opportunity to star in Friends.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jennifer discussed infertility challenges and public scrutiny over her choices.
The Horrible Bosses actress mentioned that she has made peace with not having children.
“It's so peaceful. But I will say, well, there's a point where it's like, it's out of my control. There's literally nothing I can do about it,” she added.
