QUETTA: The son of the Assistant Commissioner (AC) Ziarat, who was kidnapped two months ago along with his father, has been safely recovered, according to police officials.
Police sources confirmed that the recovered child reached Zardalo area of Harnai, from where he was taken into protective custody. He is currently with the Deputy Commissioner Harnai and reported to be safe.
It may be recalled that the Assistant Commissioner of Ziarat and his son were abducted about two months ago from the Ziarat area by unidentified armed men while they were traveling in the region. The kidnapping incident had sparked widespread concern and condemnation across Balochistan.
