Sabrina Carpenter celebrates Taylor Swift's 'Life of a Showgirl' milestone
Carpenter features on the album's titular track, which also features audio from her 'Eras Tour' appearance
Sabrina Carpenter is cheering on her mentor and former tourmate Taylor Swift after the superstar made music history yet again.
The Manchild singer took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, October 13, to celebrate Swift’s record-breaking No. 1 debut of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which achieved the highest first-week sales with over 4 million copies.
Swift, 35, first acknowledged the milestone in a sweet thank-you note to her fans earlier that day. “I have 4 million thank you’s I want to send to the fans, and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was.”
Carpenter, 26, then reshared Swift’s message and added, “Of. All. Time.” with a flurry of heart emojis, an apparent nod to calling Swift the “GOAT.”
The Espresso hitmaker’s praise comes as Showgirl officially becomes Swift’s 15th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 — surpassing both Jay-Z and Drake, with only The Beatles ahead.
“I’ll never forget how excited I was in 2006 when my first album sold 40,000 copies in its first week,” Swift reflected. “Thank you for going out to celebrate this project... and immersing yourselves in The Life of a Showgirl.”
Carpenter is the only featured artist on Showgirl, appearing on its title track. She also joined Swift during the Latin America, Asia, and Australia legs of the Eras Tour — and later surprised fans in New Orleans for a live duet of Espresso.
