ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday held a telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi.
The two ministers discussed recent regional developments, particularly in Gaza and Palestine. They also exchanged views on the joint efforts of Muslim countries to promote peace and stability in the region, as well as on the upcoming summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The two ministers exchanged views on the situation in Gaza, Palestine, and the wider Middle East, and discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts by Arab-Islamic countries to promote peace and stability in the region.
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar spoke with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov. They discussed the situation in the Middle East and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The two ministers also exchanged views on the broader efforts by Arab-Islamic countries to promote peace and stability in the region, as well as on the forthcoming summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Earlier, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty exchanged views on the ongoing situation in the Middle East, particularly the developments in Gaza and Palestine. Dar spoke with the Egyptian foreign minister, Foreign Office spokesperson said in a press release. They also discussed regional diplomatic efforts and coordination ahead of the forthcoming summit scheduled to take place in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday.
