ISLAMABAD: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has busted two child pornography dens being run in the outskirt of Haripur and Abbottabad. The racketeers were involved in blackmailing the families of minor victims, a spokesman of the NCCIA said Saturday.
Both the porno centers were interlinked and shared the resources with each other, the spokesman added. “Almost 13 youths were running the pornography trade who trapped minor and underage boys and later blackmailed them after filming their videos,” the spokesman maintained adding that the task to arrest people involved in the ugly business was given to a team of NCCIA headed by Sub Inspector Basit Ashraf, who analyzed the situation for more than two weeks and conducted raid at both the centers simultaneously and arrested four of them and shifted them to area center of NCCIA for further investigation.
Two separate FIRs have been registered under 20/22 & 24 of PECA-2016 r/w 34, 506 & 109 PPC and efforts started to hunt down other accused nominated in the FIRs, the spokesman concluded.
