Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) concluded a two-day capacity-building training program focused on the investigation and prosecution of cases under the Torture and Custodial Death Act, 2022. The session, held at the FIA Academy in Islamabad, was organised on the directive of FIA Director General Riffat Mukhtar Raja.
The training culminated with a closing address by DG Riffat Mukhtar Raja, who praised the participants for their engagement and underscored the critical importance of continuous professional development for law enforcement officers. In his remarks, he stressed the foundational values of integrity, honesty, and competence.
Raja emphasized that FIA officers must always be aware of their legal, social, and moral duties. He urged them to perform their responsibilities with sincerity, devotion, and a strong sense of accountability.
The training featured valuable sessions led by a panel of distinguished speakers and experts. These included Munir Masood Marth, Additional Director General (North); Ehsan Manzoor, Director Training; Masood Naseem, Director Law; and Asad Ali Bajwa, Deputy Attorney General of Pakistan.
