ISLAMABAD: A series of appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy, according to notifications issued by the Establishment Division on Friday.
Sohail Habib Tajik, a Grade-21 officer of the Police Service awaiting posting, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Communications Division. Muhammad Zahid Zaman, a Grade-20 officer of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service serving as Joint Secretary, Power Division, has been repatriated to the Auditor General of Pakistan’s office. Meanwhile, Muhammad Ali Shahzad Muzaffar, Deputy Secretary in the Finance Division, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, National Heritage and Culture Division.
Maiyda Usman, Assistant Director, Higher Education Commission, has been appointed as Section Officer, Economic Affairs Division.
Alina Ali, Section Officer, has been moved from the Poverty Alleviation Division to the Finance Division, while the deputation period of Miss Maryam Haya, a Grade-18 officer of the OMG serving in the Sindh Government, has been extended for two years.
