QUETTA: The names of three areas in Balochistan, including one district, have been changed.
According to a notification issued by the Senior Member, Board of Revenue, District Surab (Kalat Division) has been renamed Shaheed Sikandarabad. Similarly, Subdivision Manguchar has been renamed Khaliqabad, while Phelawagh Tehsil of Dera Bugti has been renamed Qadirabad Tehsil.
It is worth mentioning that Qadirabad Tehsil has been named after the father of incumbent Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti.
