KARACHI: Three girls and two boys drowned into Tarho Dam in Gadap area of Karachi on Wednesday.
According to the Geo News, three girls, Rehana, Zarina and Maryam, and two boys, Javed and Ali drown into Tarho Dam in outskirts of Gadap Town.
“They had gone to the dam to hold a picnic party, but they drown into it while swimming. However, a 12-year girl was saved from drowning,” said the rescue workers.
All the victims belong to Golimar area of Karachi. The rescue team has recovered four bodies so far.
I may be mentioned that the Sindh government last month banned swimming in the sea for 30 days.
