President Zardari returns after reaffirming Pakistan-China strategic partnership
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has returned to the country after his visit to China.
Earlier, he was seen off from Kashgar by CPC Party Secretary & Vice Governor of Xinjiang Nie Zhuang.
He thanked Chinese leadership for their hospitality and praised Xinjiang’s progress under President Xi’s vision.
During the visit, the President toured Chengdu, Shanghai, Urumqi, and Kashgar. He held meetings with provincial leadership during the trip. Discussions were held on Pakistan-China relations, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and future connectivity projects.
The meetings also covered regional peace, development, and cooperation. Several Memorandums of Understanding were signed during the visit. President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit reaffirms the commitment to the Pakistan-China strategic partnership.
