WANA: The three-day Tablighi ijtima at the central ground of Wana, Lower Suth Waziristan, concluded on Sunday, as hundreds of thousands of worshippers from across the country joined the gathering.

The participants came in large numbers from tribal districts, various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, and other regions of the country. Speaking on the occasion, the ulema urged the faithful to prioritise religion in their personal, social, and professional lives, and to raise future generations in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah. They stressed that unity, brotherhood, and commitment to religion were the only shields against the challenges of the modern era.

Special prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, and security of Pakistan and the wider Muslim world.

The organizers estimated the attendance at around 200,000 to 250,000 people and said the congregation concluded in a completely peaceful environment. They expressed gratitude to the local administration and police for providing effective security arrangements.
