Rawalpindi : Grammar School Rawalpindi (GSR) organised a grand celebration of Seerat-un-Nabi in connection with the commemoration of the 1500th year of the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The event was marked with spiritual zeal, intellectual discussions, and a unique programme highlighting the eternal relevance of the Prophet’s teachings in building a sustainable and harmonious world.
The event was attended by students, teachers, scholars, and distinguished guests from various educational institutions. Deputy Director GSR, Sitwat Yousufzai, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while several senior educators and dignitaries joined as Guests of Honour.
Themes included the Meesaq-e-Madina (the first social contract), the rights and dignity of women, protection and education of children, economic principles of fairness and justice, entrepreneurship for Muslim women, environmental stewardship, peace accords, religious harmony, civic sense, and empathy.
The participating institutions included Science School, Lawrence College Ghora Gali, The Indus Valley School of Learning, Startwell Education, OPF School, DIL, and Falcon School.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among participating schools, faculty members, students, staff, the Chief Guest, and Guests of Honour, as a gesture of appreciation for their valuable contributions.
Speaking on the occasion, Nasreen Iqbal, Executive Director of GSR, emphasized the importance of learning, following, and imparting the life lessons of the Prophet (PBUH).
