CDA completes six projects in record time

Islamabad:The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in a record-breaking performance has completed at least six mega development projects worth around Rs23 billion in less than one year.

Since the incumbent top management of the organization took over during the month of May last year, several new road projects were conceived and then completed. The success story began with the Jinnah Square Interchange. The interchange was constructed at Serena Chowk and Jinnah Convention Chowk. In the second phase, the Jinnah Square Murre Road Interchange was completed in 35 days. Another project Tayyip Erdogan Interchange was constructed at interjection of of F-8 Chowk at Jinnah Avenue.

Other projects included Expressway (PWD Underpass to G T Road), Expressway (Korang to PWD Interchange), rehabilitation and widening of Park Road (Tramari Chowk to Rawat Chowk), renovation of Convention Center, construction car parking plazas in commercial areas.

CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa Tuesday visited the T-Chowk Flyover project. It was informed that comprehensive measures are being taken to ensure the early relocation of all utility services affected by the project. He was apprised that the construction of 12 piles for the T-Chowk Flyover has been completed.

Randhawa directed that the process of relocating utility services should be completed safely and at the earliest. He instructed that the project must be completed according to the stipulated timelines and schedule, while ensuring the highest standards of quality work.
