RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mastung District of Balochistan on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on September 12 after reports of the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan.During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout, and after an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from their possession.
The ISPR said the killed terrorists had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area. A sanitisation operation is underway to eliminate any remaining threat.
