SC suspends implementation of revised rates of fee, securities

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Wednesday notified the suspension of implementation of the revised rates of fee and securities prescribed under the Supreme Court Rules 2025.

A notification issued by Sohail Ahmed, Deputy Registrar (Admin) for Registrar Supreme Court, said in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 191 of the Constitution, the Supreme Court had decided that the implementation of the revised rates of fee and securities prescribed under the Supreme Court Rules, 2025 shall remain suspended, for the time being, and instead the rates as per the repealed Supreme Court Rules, 1980, shall remain in force.

Similarly in another notification issued with the approval of Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, District & Sessions Judge (BS-21), Peshawar High Court, presently posted as Senior Director at the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad, was transferred and posted in the Supreme Court as Additional Registrar (Admn) (BS-21), with immediate effect, in the public interest, on deputation basis, for a period of one year.

“He will draw deputation allowance @ 20% of his basic pay subject to maximum of Rs20,000 per month and other usual allowances as are admissible to the employees of this Court, from time to time,” says the notification issued by the deputy registrar (admin) for registrar.
