Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Junior, the grandson of PPP founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the son of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, is expected to contest elections from Lyari for a National Assembly seat.
According to sources, Zulfikar Junior will run from Lyari, a traditional PPP stronghold and an area known for its loyal Bhutto supporters. Reports suggest that a sitting MNA from Lyari will soon resign, after which Zulfikar Junior will contest the by-election.
He is anticipated to receive strong public backing and support from the constituency, with expectations that he will easily secure the seat and enter the National Assembly. Zulfikar Junior had recently announced the launch of a new political party.
