LAHORE: The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF) convened a Special General Council Meeting in Lahore, where a two-thirds majority of elected members voted to terminate the membership and affiliation of three senior officials for violating the Federation’s constitution.
Out of 32 officials, 22 were present, fulfilling the constitutional quorum required for binding decisions. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), adding institutional weight to the proceedings.
The agenda centered on alleged misconduct by President Tariq Hassan, General Secretary Sohail Anwar, and Finance Secretary Armaghan Muqeem, who were found to have appointed new members without proper authorisation, issued letters to new associations without General Council oversight and distributed and utilised federation’s funds without approval.
