ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will hear next week eight appeals filed by former prime minister Imran Khan in cases related to the May 9 incidents.
A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and comprising Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, will resume proceedings on August 19 (Tuesday) regarding Imran’s appeals against the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) decision to reject his petition for post-arrest bail in the May 9 cases.
During the last hearing, the court had adjourned proceedings until August 19 after issuing a notice to the Punjab government.
