Digari case victim’s mother granted bail, Satakzai’s plea rejected

QUETTA: A court in Quetta has rejected the bail application of tribal leader Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai, arrested in connection with the murder of a man and a woman, while granting bail to the slain woman’s mother, Gul Bibi.
On Monday, the bail pleas of Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai and Gul Bibi, the mother of victim Bano Bibi were heard. After hearing the arguments, the court dismissed Sherbaz’s plea and approved Gul Bibi’s bail, ordering her release.
The Serious Crime Investigation Wing had already submitted the challan in the Digari case to the court. Both Sherbaz and Gul Bibi had earlier applied for bail in the same court.
