PAKISTAN: Chairman of the Central Reut-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said on Sunday that the minimum amount of fitra per person is Rs 100.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman made the announcement as the month of Ramazan is nearing its end and people throughout the Muslim world prepare to give fitra or charity money.
Muneeb stated that with respect to wheat, the fitra amount is Rs 100 per person. With regard to oat, it is also Rs 320 per person and with regard to dates, Rs 550 per person.
Rs 1600 per person is the amount that has been fixed for fitra with regard to raisins.
