DHABEJI: Rangers conducted a search operation in Thatta's Dhabeji area on Friday and arrested eight suspects who belonged to a political party.

Sources revealed that the Rangers' special team had arrived from Karachi and based on intelligence reports, surrounded the residential area of Karachi's Water Board which is connected with Dhabeji pumping station.

During the search operation, as many as eight suspects were arrested who belonged to a particular political party.

Rangers and police have stepped up their efforts to maintain law and order in Karachi and Sindh after last week's kidnapping of barrister Owais Ali Shah and the cold-blooded murder of qawwal Amjad Farid Sabri.
