KARACHI: The fire which erupted on the fourth floor of the Commerce Centre building located on Karachi’s I.I. Chundrigar Road has been extinguished and the cooling process is underway.
The fire had erupted on the fourth floor of the building which houses two offices.
At least eight fire tenders took part in extinguishing the fire while fire brigades from across the city had been placed on high-alert.
Eyewitnesses told Geo News there had been no reports of any injuries. One eyewitness said the reason for the fire was a short circuit.
A fire department official while speaking to Geo News said 11 people had been rescued from two offices located in the building.
