LAHORE: Police officers outside the Punjab Assembly got into a physical altercation with each other which was later broken up by senior officials.
According to details, the brawl broke out when an Inspector from the Special Branch tried to enter the Punjab Assembly in plain clothes.
SHO Qila Gujjar Singh, who had been deployed to provide security at the assembly, stopped the Inspector to search him which brought the latter into a rage.
Both police officials exchanged heated words after which their confrontation turned physical when Qila Gujjar Khan twisted the Inspector's arm.
Senior officials took both officials aside and diffused tensions between them.
