Jeremy Renner admits life feels different after painful accident
Jeremy Renner finds strength in post-accident pain
Jeremy Renner, who survived a near-fatal snowplow accident in 2023, has embraced the lingering aches and pain that came with it.
Renner was crushed by a snowplow, broke 38 bones and still feels the pain. But he's alive, he's healing, and he’s not looking back.
He shared with PEOPLE magazine: "My swollen ankles, my back that keeps going out or my jaw that just can't seem to bite down right, it's a great reminder of an attitude that got me to here in the first place.
"It's awesome. This is why I can't have a bad day. I know what a bad day feels like."
The 54-year-old star revealed that he has titanium in his chest and leg, so airport staff always turn off the metal detectors to avoid setting off alarms.
He said: "[They know to] switch the buttons on [the machines], so it doesn't go off like 4th of July. I'm not an airport person, but I don't seem to have too many problems.
"They're pretty in on the joke [if the alarms go off] which is kind of nice."
Jeremy isn’t confident running these days. While filming Mayor of Kingstown, the actor got a clear reminder that life has changed.
