KARACHI: Police on late Thursday night claimed to have killed three terrorists in a shootout in Sohrab Goth area of the city.
SPP Malir Rao Anwar said the suspected terrorists were wanted for their involvement in different crimes. He said a raid was conducted in Sohrab Goth on a tip off regarding presence of the suspects and the three were killed in an exchange of fire.
He said a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also seized in the raid. Identities of the suspects were yet to be known. The bodies were taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
