LAHORE: Lahori food and Punjabi music is getting popularity in China especially in its Sichuan province, observed by the correspondent of APP during his recent visit to the friendly country.
Owner of hotel Zhang Xiaochuan in Chengdu a sister city of Lahore and capital of Sichuan province told APP that he used to play Punjabi music in his hotel on the demand of customers including Chinese.
Same situation was noted in many other food outlets in Chengdu regarding Punjab and Pushtu songs he said that Pakistani music is a high source of amusement.
The songs contents tunes and voice of Pakistani singers all are fantastic and Chinese people love it he added.
He said that tunes of these songs attracts Chinese speaking customers even if they don t understand the language.
Wang Ya Director Municipal Office Chongqing another important city of China said that use of spicy food in Sichuan province is almost same as in the province of Punjab Pakistan.
He said that traditions of hospitality and many other social norms in Punjab and Sichuan province are also same.
Chengdu and Lahore the Capitals of Sichuan and Punjab provinces respectively have already been declared as sister cities.
Li Jian vice Rector China West Normal University Nanchong Sichuan said that quality of Halal food is considered as very high throughout the World especially in China.
This is the reason that Chinese people take keen interest in it he added.
He said that use of meat and other such nutrients is being increased in Chinese diet with the passage of time.
