Emma Corrin talks life-changing role in ‘The Crown’ and navigating fame
Emma Corrin gets candid about playing late Princess Diana in hit Netflix series
Emma Corrin has recently reflected on life-changing role as Princess Diana in the hit Netflix series, The Crown.
Corrin, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, spoke to Elle magazine and opened up about their role that led them to fame and superstardom.
“As time goes on, it’s so weird to think about how much it changed my life. It’s almost too big to think about,” said the 29-year-old.
While talking about navigating fame after playing late Princess of Wales role, the Deadpool & Wolverine star stated, “It’s a very weird aspect of this job. I find it really hard.”
“I’m grateful, obviously, for everything my work brings my way, but as you get older and you think about what you want for the rest of your life,” explained Corrin.
The Nosferatu actor mentioned, “I’m trying to find a balance of liking the work I’m doing and the choices I’m making, and distancing myself from the rest.”
“I think playing Diana was, in a way, the greatest warning,” declared Corrin.
Elsewhere in the interview, the celebrity also made rare comment about their long-term relationship with fellow actor Rami Malek.
“I feel more centered this year. I feel very settled in myself, which I haven’t experienced for a long time,” added Corrin.
