Scarlett Johansson discusses one strict policy for fans and children’s privacy concerns
Scarlett Johansson has recently explained why she decides to set boundaries for herself and wants to keep her children out of the spotlight.
In a new interview with InStyle, the Black Widow star spoke candidly about one strict rule with her fans and that’s not taking selfies if she’s not at an event.
“It really offends a lot of people,” revealed Scarlett.
However, the Asteroid City actress clarified, “It doesn't mean I'm not appreciative, of course, that people are fans, or happy to see me.”
“But I always say to people, ‘I'm not working,’” remarked the 40-year-old.
Elsewhere in the interview, Scarlett also discussed about her life a mom of two and what made her to preserve her children’s privacy.
“I definitely overshare,” stated the Fly Me To The Moon actress while talking about her attitude toward the press.
Scarlett mentioned, “I’m not a closed book… I’m politically active and vocal about it. But I am a private person in the sense that I value my close friendships.”
The Captain Marvel actress opened up that her “family is very precious to [her], as is their privacy”.
“The anonymity of my children is very precious to me,” she pointed out, which is why she started having conversation about fame with her oldest daughter.
Meanwhile, Scarlet shared she never wants her children to carry the weight of fame until they are ready to make that choice for themselves.
“I think preserving that for as long as possible until it’s someone’s choice, that’s the choice I make as far as my children go,” added the actress.
