BAFTA crowns 'Harry Potter' actor Warwick Davis for legendary career

Warwick Davis, legendary actor who is known for his hit roles in Harry Potter and Star Wars, has been honoured with prestigious BAFTA Fellowship.

This is said to be the highest award given by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, celebrating career that truly stood the test of time.

The BAFTA Fellowship has been awarded to people who have made a significant and lasting impact on the film, television and games world.

"We are delighted to present Warwick Davis the BAFTA Fellowship award; our highest honour. Warwick is a talented, much loved and truly inspiring figure who has captivated audiences over many decades," said The Academy Chair Sara Putt.

Born in 1970 in England, Warwick is best known for his unforgettable and lovable roles such as Professor Filius Flitwick in Harry Potter fiction film and Ewok in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.

As the beginning of his career, the star faced many challenges in his life, as being diagnosed with a rare form of dwarfism called spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita.

Despite all of these hurdles, Warwick Davis decided to push away his worries and rose to become one of the most beloved and iconic actors in film history.
