RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif while talking to US delegation has demanded the American authorities to target Taliban leader Mullah Fazlullah and other terrorists in Afghanistan.
A high level American delegation led by General John Nicholson of the United States Army met the Army Chief on Friday at GHQ.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif told the members of the delegation that "we will not allow intelligence agencies of other countries to operate in Pakistan."
He said action needs to be taken against Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Afghan intelligence agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) and members of other terrorist organisations.
General Raheel emphasised the US army to target the Taliban hideouts in Afghanistan in order to make the efforts being taken to wipe-out terrorism in the region as fruitful.
The army chief further stated that Pakistan’s stance against terrorism is evident before all, adding that the country is against all efforts made towards promoting terrorism.
He also told the delegation that US drone strike in Balochistan has caused a huge damage to mutual trust between the two countries and this kind of accessions would not be tolerated in future.
